Happy Wednesday! I’m so excited to show you guys these photo’s that were taken by Madison Massey Photography. First off, this girl is as sweet as can be and second you will soon see just how talented she is. If you’re looking for an affordable photographer in the Fredericton, New Brunswick area you need to check her out. She specializes in couples, families, children, maternity and engagement. This was her first fashion shoot for a blog and you never would have guessed. She was up for the task as soon as I told her what I was looking for. I plan on having many more shoots in the future with her (which I already started planning). For those of you who are getting married, guess what? Starting in 2018 she will be shooting weddings as well! I will leave her contact information down below. If you have any questions about the shoot, the location or any details feel free to leave a comment. For those of you who don’t know my husband and I moved to another province at the end of the summer because he is attending school here. We are approximately 7 hours from home. Although I miss it, I am really enjoying being here. We happen to be a two-minute walk from the most gorgeous trail which I like to walk every day. We are within walking distance to the grocery store, drug store, restaurants etc. Pretty much any place you need on a regular basis we are near. It’s funny because when we first moved here my first thought was 1. Yay I can walk everywhere and 2. This trail is going to be perfect for shoots. When I approached Madison about shooting on the trail there was no hesitation. We walked along the trail and she found the perfect spots to shoot in. I hope you enjoy these looks and don’t forget to follow me on my social media accounts to stay up to date. "Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall". F. Scott Fitzgerald I can't believe it's almost the middle of October already. For those of you who don't know me yet I literally go into full fall mode August 1st. I can't help it! There's just something I love about the cool air, the leaves scattered across the ground and the overall vibe of fall. I'll take a cozy sweater & psl over a sundress & iced tea any day! I wanted to put together a few of my favorite fall looks for you as well as show how my style has changed from last year. My style normally doesn't change drastically but I do like adding in a few new trends each season. If you have any questions make sure to leave them below in the comment section. I love hearing from you! I loved mixing dresses I wore in the summer with booties, sweaters and floppy hats and making it into a completely different outfit. This year I still love that look but I've been picking up pieces that are more form fitting, floral or with statement sleeves. I've been so addicted to bell sleeves this year, I can't pass a top with bell sleeves without wanting to purchase it. I'll never get sick of wearing hats so that of course stayed the same! A lot of these pieces wouldn't still be available but if there is any piece you are interested in comment below and I will link a similar item for you. For those who haven't been to Toronto I suggest you add it to your bucket list. I would of had a great time just walking around the city taking in all the sights. Trust me when I say you won't run out of things to do there. When I started packing for Toronto I knew we would be walking a lot (I really didn't know the extent of how much walking however ha!). I didn't want to over pack which is what I always do even if I'm just staying overnight somewhere. I decided to bring only 2 pairs of shoes (I know, crazy right?). I packed 2 pairs of shorts, 1 skirt, 1 dress & a few tops and cardigans (Just enough for 5 days). We were in Toronto for 4 nights in total. When we got to Toronto the first night I decided to wear my heels because seriously how much walking would we really do. Well, we did a lot! I regretted wearing those heels very quickly. Long story short, I was limping the following day and wore my converse for the rest of our stay! I wanted to do a mix of looks which would be stylish yet comfortable. I hope you enjoy this post and if you have any questions on any of the pieces I wore let me know.
